Windemere is active in the Florida 4-H Horse Program and our young riders have the opportunity to join the 4-H under the guidance of Teresa.
The purpose of the 4-H program is to provide young people an opportunity to participate in a series of activities designed to improve citizenship, sportsmanship, horsemanship, character, competitive spirit, discipline, and responsibility while creating an atmosphere for learning and awareness of the life about us.
Located in northeast Florida, Windemere Equestrian Center is a full-service facility that resides on roughly 18 acres. Windemere offers a 24-stall indoor barn, a 12-horse barn, a covered wash-barn, 2 large arenas with outdoor lighting, a full course of fences, and spacious turnout. Our trainers are Teresa Pennington and Joan Werner.
Windemere is mostly known for its strong involvement in the Appaloosa breed but welcomes all breeds. The farm is competitive on the ApHC circuit, hunter/jumper, ARHA and specializes in training youth and non-pros.
