Windemere is a supporter and breeder of Appaloosa horses

The appaloosa is a color breed of horse that is known for versatility. Appaloosa horses can be found excelling in nearly every riding discipline including hunter, jumper, reining, ranch, pleasure and even racing.

At Windemere Equestrian center, we have a proud history of participation with the Appaloosa Horse Club and have stood several ApHC stallions including Zippos Sensation, Ima Frosty Lena and Frosty Ike. As an Appaloosa breeding barn we often have registered Appaloosas for sale, and many of our lesson horses are Appaloosas.

For appaloosa-loving riders in the North Florida area, Windemere is the barn you want to lesson and show with.

While we love our Appaloosa horses, Windemere has an appreciation for all horses great and small. Our trainers are registered judges for several breed registries including Gypsy Vanner. Additional breeds and animals that can be found at Windemere include Quarter Horses, ponies, roping cows and others.
